Google's New logo

Google unveiled its brand new logo, which is one of the biggest changes since its creation in 1998. To celebrate this new logo, Google has dedicated a Doodle on its homepage.

The animated doodle shows a hand wiping off the old Google logo and drawing the new logo. Mean while people are bidding adieu to the little blue "g" icon and replacing it with a four color "G" that is seen color coordinating with the logo.

As you can see above, Google has let go off the more serious Serif font, and has instead opted for a more fun and lighthearted Serif font. For its logo, Google had to design its own custom typeface it calls Product Sans. The new logo is not only in line with Alphabet's logo, but also updated for "Seamless computing across an endless number of devices and different kinds of inputs (type and talk).
