Less than
a month after unveiling it at MWC, Lenovo previous day launched the Vibe K5 Plus in
India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,499, and it is set to go on sale from
March 23 onwards. It goes on sale exclusively on Flipkart, but no registrations
are required. During the first sale, there will also be an exclusive exchange
and upgrade offer for existing Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus users.
Lenovo
Vibe K5 Plus is the successor to Vibe K4 Note and features the TheatreMax
technology with Dolby Audio support. The Vibe K5 Plus has a 5-inch full HD
display with 10-point multi-touch support.

experience. Be it games or videos, TheaterMax can convert them into “immersive
large screen experience boasting smooth graphics, life-like surround sound and
responsive 3D gameplay.” Needless to say, the Vibe K5 Plus is compatible with ANTVR
headset.
Under the
hood, the Vibe K5 Plus is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon
616 processor coupled with Adreno 405GPU. The smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and
16GB storage, further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is a dual-SIM smartphone that supports 4G LTE bands in
India. On the camera front, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes with 13MP rear camera
with f/2.2 lens and a 5MP front camera. Lenovo
