Lenovo Vibe S1 with Dual-selfie cameras launched in India; Specifications, Features And Price

Lenovo has finally launched the Vibe S1 in India. It is perhaps the world’s first smartphone with dual front-facing cameras. It sports 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel front-facing cameras. The company at the time of the launch said, "The 8-megapixel primary front camera takes the sharpest photos and a 2-megapixel secondary front camera analyses depth of field information."

The handset also sports several built-in photo editing tools such as Blur, which allows refocusing anywhere on the selfie (up to 3 focal plains), and Cut Out, which allows users to cut out people from a selfie and then superimpose them on another image.

Specification & Features :

The Vibe S1 comes with a 5-inch full HD display. The display and curved glass at the back, both are covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to keep scratches at bay. Powered by MediaTek’s MT6752 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core processor, the Vibe S1 is paired with 3GB of RAM and Mali T760 GPU. With 32GB of onboard storage, a microSD card slot is also present for further expansion.

Apart from the front-facing dual cameras, the Vibe S1 also packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with true-tone dual-LED flash. It is equipped with 2,420mAh non-removable battery and connectivity options such as dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box with Lenovo’s Custom UI running atop.

Price :

The Vibe S1 is priced at Rs 15,999. At this price point, the smartphone will compete with the likes of Motorola’s Moto X Play, OnePlus X, Xiaomi Mi 4 and Asus Zenfone Selfie among others. The smartphone goes on sale via Amazon India from midnight.
