Moto G
Turbo Edition and Moto G (Gen 3) have received price cuts in the Indian market,
bringing down the costs of the two smartphones by Rs 2,000.
Moto
Turbo, which was launched at Rs 14,999, will now cost Rs 12,999. Similarly, the
base 8GB variant of third-generation Moto G will be available at starting price
of Rs 9,999, compared to its launch price of Rs 11,999. The 16GB model of MotoG (Gen 3) will cost Rs 10,999.
Additionally,
the company has an exchange offer of up to Rs 4,000 for the third-generation
Moto G, while Moto G Turbo Edition entails a discount of up to Rs 5,000 upon
exchange. Moto X Play entails a discount of up to Rs 7,000 upon exchange. Moto X Style entails a discount of up to Rs 15,000 upon exchange.
The price
cuts as well as the cash-back are available exclusively on Flipkart.
Motorola
India has not revealed any possible reasons for slashing price of the Moto G
(Gen 3), but the recent launch of the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note can be expected to be
one of the reasons. In our first impressions of the Vibe K4 Note, we found the
Moto G (Gen 3) was one of the biggest competitors.
