We’re just a week away from MWC 2016 and while manufacturers like
Samsung and LG have already announced plans of launching their
respective smartphones, it looks like Lenovo doesn’t want to be missed out. The company has teased a new smartphone
via its Facebook Page Lenovo Mobile India and Twitter handles. The device is
believed to be the successor to the Lenovo A6000 that was launched last year.
With a
caption “#KnockOut Coming Soon MWC
2016,” the Facebook Page reads, “After
revolutionizing 4G last year, this gorgeous device has been engineered from scratch
in a shiny, bold and powerful avatar to deliver the # Knockout punch. Brace
yourselves." The teaser doesn’t reveal much at the moment, but shows that the successor to A6000
could be a metal-clad smartphone.
Lenovo A6000
specifications and features:
It sports a 5-inch HD display, and is
powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and

with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options
include dual-SIM card slots, Dual-Mode LTE support (both TD-LTE Band 40 and
FD-LTE Band 20), Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. On the software front, the
smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under Vibe UI 2.0.
