Motorola
is slowly expanding its portfolio of devices available outside Flipkart.
Motorola has announced that the Moto G (3rd Gen), as well as Moto G
Turbo Edition are now also on available on Amazon India. Currently, only the
Moto G (3rd Gen) 16GB variant is available on the e-commerce site with
a price tag of Rs 10,999. Motorola says that the 8GB variant of the Moto G will
go on sale sometime later this week, while the Moto G Turbo Edition is set to
go on sale from today onwards.
Since
last year Motorola has been trying to move away from its exclusive partnership
with Flipkart. Back in September, the Moto E (2015) (2nd Gen) wasmade available on Snapdeal. This was followed by the Moto 360 (2nd
Gen) Smartwatch, which went on sale on Amazon India last month. Motorola’s latest launch, the Moto X Force, was simultaneously launched on
Flipkart and Amazon India, as well as offline channels like Croma.
Moto G (3rd Gen) specifications and features:
It
flaunts a 5-inch 720p display, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, and
is available in two variants 8GB storage variant with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB
internal storage variant with 2GB of RAM.
It also
features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 2,470mAh
battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support. It
also features IPX7 water resistance, and runs on Android Lollipop but Some
devices in rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow in India.

It
flaunts a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.5GHz
Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage,
along with microSD card slot.
It also
features a 13-megapixel f/2.0 camera, 5-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle selfie
camera, 2,470mAh battery with Turbo quick charge support, and connectivity
options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support. On the software front, it
runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop but Some devices in rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow
in India.
