After
launching the Note 3 in October last year, Coolpad has today launched a slightly
beefed up version of the smartphone. Called Coolpad Note 3 Plus, the smartphone
is priced at Rs 8,999. The smartphone will be available in black and white
color options on Amazon India starting May 13. Compared to the Note 3, the new
smartphone comes with a higher resolution display, new octa-core processor,
higher resolution front-facing camera and higher capacity battery.

The
Coolpad Note 3 Plus sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920x1080 pixels
resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz 64-bit Mediatek MT6753 Octa-core
processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. There's 16GB of on-board storage, expandable
up to 128GB via microSD card.
In the photography, it sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing
snapper. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Cool UI 6.0 skin baked on
top. In terms
of connectivity, the dual-sim phone includes support for 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG. The device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
Recently, Coolpad slashed
the price of its current flagship device Note 3. CoolPad Note 3 is now
available at Rs 8,499.
