Samsung
released the successors to the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in China last month, and
they were made available in Europe a week after that. Now, the company is
gearing up to launch the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) in other markets
including India.
Samsung
India on Monday has launched the 2016 editions of its Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7
smartphones. The smartphones have been priced at Rs. 13,990 and Rs. 15,990
respectively, and will be available via Flipkart from Tuesday. The smartphones
will be available Radiant Gold, Midnight Black, and Pearl White colour
variants.
This smartphones will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting tomorrow and get Double Data offers from
Airtel for up to six months that will allow consumers to get up to 30GB of free
data.

The Galaxy J7 (2016), the
smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD (1280p) Super AMOLED display and is
powered by an Exynos octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz.
It comes with 3GB of RAM and packs 16GB of storage which is further expandable
via microSD card (up to 128GB). The handset is backed by a 3300mAh battery.
In connectivity
options include dual SIM card slots, NFC, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and
GPS.

5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz clubbed with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of
storage and the handset supports expandable storage support via microSD card
(up to 128GB). The Galaxy J5 (2016) is backed by a 3100mAh battery.
