Lenovo ZUK Z1 with Cyanogen OS launched in India for Rs 13,499: Specifications, Features

Lenovo has launched the Zuk Z1 smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 13,499. The smartphone will be available on its first flash sale at 2pm on May 19 via Amazon India, with registration beginning on today.

One of the key features of the ZUK Z1 is Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and is expected to be updated to Cyanogen OS 13. ZUK says the users can root the smartphone without voiding the warranty.

Lenovo Z1 come with Metal transitioning flawlessly into glass body 5.5 inch Full HD(1920x1080) IPS display will come with a 100% NTSF (High Color saturation), 401ppi, 1500:1 contrast. so it sports an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor 2.5GHz run on 3GB of RAM and graphics Adreno 330 3D GPU.

Lenovo is planning to bring in only the 64GB version to India. The phone also has a USB Type-C slot for charging and data transfer. The other unique feature is the 4100 mAh battery(non removable) with 2.5A Fast Charging-full battery charge within 2.5 hours. Lenovo claims the battery will last long as it cuts down on unnecessary charge cycles by switching to DC power when the battery touches 100 per cent.

In a Photography, the rear camera is 13MP dual-LED flash with Sony Exmor RS sensor, OSI, Aperture f/2.2 while the front camera is 8MP. 

Connectivity, dual nano-SIM cards, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, Fingerprint sensor at Home button - cutting edge technology that provides 360 degree finger dection and fast response. It's run on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1.
