Lenovo is gearing up to launch a new smartphone later today, called Vibe K5 Note. In the run up to today’s event, Lenovo has been aggressively promoting today’s launch, and has also hinted at different aspects of the upcoming device. With just a few hours for the launch, here’s a look at everything we know about the Vibe K5 Note.
Lenovo had launched the K5 Note smartphone in China earlier this year, but the variant that is set to be launched later today will be a tad different. For one, the China variant featured 2GB of RAM, while the device launching today will boast 4GB of RAM. The rest of the specifications and features are expected to remain the same. Lenovo’s event is set to kick off today at 3:00PM IST, and the event will be live streamed on the company’s social accounts.
Lenovo has teased the audience with a video. This teaser reveals a ‘Secure Zone’ mode that the Vibe K5 Note will feature.
The video posted by Lenovo Mobile India on its official Facebook Page, discloses that the Vibe K5 Note will feature dual profile and login in the smartphone. In simpler words, a user can have a work profile and a personal profile in the same smartphone, and can switch between the two as per convenience and requirement. Lenovo’s Secure Zone is a lot similar to the Second Space feature in Xiaomi’s MIUI 8.
Other than the Secure Zone feature, there have been quite a handful of details that have been teased and revealed about the Vibe K5 Note.
