Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro With 6GB of RAM, 6-Inch Display, Snapdragon 653 chipset, 16 MP selfie camera listed Online hours ahead of launch



Samsung is all set to launch a new smartphone in China on Friday, widely expected to be the Galaxy C9. The company is also anticipated to launch a variant called the Galaxy C9 Pro. Now, just hours ahead of the launch, the latter phone has been listed on major Chinese online retailer T-Mall. The listing is complete with price, specifications, and images. The smartphone is not yet available to buy.  Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro sports a CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs. 31,700) price tag.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro will feature a large 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display and will be sleek with a thickness of 6.9mm. It will be powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC, Adreno 510 GPU, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage, which will be expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. On the photography front, the smartphone will sport a 16-megapixel primary and a 16-megapixel secondary camera, both of which will have f/1.9 aperture. Additionally, the leaked images show that the smartphone will come with Samsung Pay, using both NFC (Near Field Communication) and MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission). 

Other than that for connectivity, the smartphone will support Type-C USB post, fingerprint sensor on its home button,dual-SIM (Nano+Nano). The Galaxy C9 Pro will be fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery and will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. The smartphone will be available in two colors – a gold and a rose gold variant.
