If you have been planning to own a OnePlus 3T 128GB variant, then you might be disappointed to know that OnePlus has discontinued the model as of now. The company’s official website listing of the 128GB variant in Gunmetal color now says ‘discontinued’.
OnePlus 3T is temporarily out of stock for both India and other global markets as well. Reports suggest that since OnePlus is relatively a small company, it aims at focusing on only one ‘flagship’ device at a time. This conforms to earlier reports of it working on a flagship smartphone for 2017, dubbed as the OnePlus 5. As the launch of the flagship device is imminent, OnePlus 3T sales are likely to take a hit and that is likely why the company might be producing a limited number of handsets.
OnePlus still has the OnePlus 3T 64GB variant available for sale at Rs 29,999. The device was launched last year as a mid-cycle upgrade to the OnePlus 3. Looking forward to this year, OnePlus earlier this week confirmed to launch OnePlus 5 this summer. CEO Pete Lau also confirmed the same, teasing the device on more than one occasion.

Following previous leaks, the OnePlus 5 is already being touted as the next big flagship killer. The handset is said to sport 8GB of RAM, dual rear-camera setup and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood. Earlier, a GearBest listing tipped by Evan Blass gave out noteworthy details on the upcoming flagship. As per the listing, the OnePlus 5 could feature a 5.5-inch 2K Quad-HD display in a thinner bezel design.
In terms of camera capability, OnePlus 5 could come with a pair of 23-megapixel primary cameras at the back. On the front, it is expected to be a 16-megapixel camera as was the case on the OnePlus 3T. The device is expected to come with 64GB of storage on-board and will run on Android Nougat 7.1 with OxygenOS on top.
