Oppo F3 with dual-selfie cameras launched in India, Priced at Rs 19,990: Specifications, features


Soon after launching the F3 Plus with dual front-facing cameras, Oppo has now launched a slightly affordable version of the smartphone. Called Oppo F3, the smartphone comes with a smaller display, and watered down specifications, while still retaining the dual front-facing camera setup. Priced at Rs 19,990, the smartphone will go on sale starting May 13 on Amazon India, and retail stores. The highlight of the Oppo F3 is not surprising, the dual front-facing cameras.

However, the working of dual front-facing cameras on Oppo F3 is a little different. Out of the two cameras, one is a 16-megapixel sensor for your regular selfies, whereas the other is an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle selfie camera for your group photos.

Oppo F3 specifications and features

The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display with a pixel density of 401ppi. It is covered with 2.5D curved glass on top, along with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Also, the display has maximum brightness of 500nits. The Oppo F3 is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core SoC clocked at 1.5GHz. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. Unlike other smartphones where you get hybrid SIM card slot, the Oppo F3 comes with a slot that lets you use two nano SIM cards along with one microSD card.

Besides the dual front-cameras, the Oppo F3 also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) and an LED flash. Powering the smartphone is 3,200mAh battery with support for fast charging. Connectivity options include, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and 4G LTE with VoLTE HD voice calling support. 

In the software department, the Oppo F3 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based ColorOS 3.0. The custom UI also comes with power saving option to ensure the battery lasts longer, clone apps feature allowing you to use two WhatsApp accounts – one for personal and one for official use. There is also a privacy protection mode to keep your apps and content safe and secure from prying eyes.
