After the
success of ZenFone 2 Laser 5 and 5.5, Asus today has launched the ZenFone 2
Laser 6 (ZE601KL) in India, a variant of the ZenFone 2 Laser that went on sale in
September Rs 9,999. Equipped with good hardware, the smartphone will be
available in red, silver and gold color options.
Price :
It is
priced at Rs 17,999 and will be available from midnight on Flipkart, Amazon
India and Snapdeal. Asus also mentioned that the smartphone will be available
via offline channels (brick-and-mortar stores) from second week of December.

sports a 6-inch full HD (1080p) display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor (1.7 GHz) paired with 3GB of RAM and
32GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot with support for up to 128GB is
also present.
One of
the talking points of the smartphone is its photographic chops. It features a
13-megapixel f/2.0 PixelMaster camera with dual-LED flash, and Laser
auto-focus. Asus claims that the Laser auto-focus lets you focus in less than
half 0.03 seconds. The camera app also has a Super Resolution mode that can
capture photos of up to 52-megapixel resolution. Up front, is a 5-megapixel
f/2.0 selfie camera.
For low light photography, the phone comes equipped with the Pixel Enhancing and Pixel Master technology that is claimed to allow users take up to 400 per cent brighter photos and videos.

smartphone also includes a 3,000mAh battery with connectivity options such as
dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE support and Bluetooth 4.0 are present. On
the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under the ZenUI.
The
6-inch ZenFone 2 Laser gets some extra love from Asus. Apart from the bumped up
specs, the Taiwanese firm is offering 100GB of Google Drive storage (valid for
2 years), in addition to 5GB of Lifetime WebStorage, Asus’ own cloud storage service.
