Samsung's
yet-to-be-announced Galaxy A9 smartphone has surfaced in an unofficial video
where the handset is being compared with the Galaxy A7 (2016) smartphone.
The
video has been shared on Youku Tudou, the Chinese video platform, where the
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) featuring a 5.5-inch display is seen compared with the
Samsung Galaxy A9, which is said to feature a larger 6-inch display.
The
video shows the front and rear side of both smartphones and also the buttons
and ports placement. Both smartphones feature a metal frame and a physical home
button below the screen, which also doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The
second gen Galaxy A-series smartphones also features a glass back design, just
the Galaxy S6-family and the Galaxy Note 5.
New
information comes through leaked promotional photos (above photo) that have surfaced on
Weibo. The leaked photos reveal some of the key features of the rumored Galaxy
A9.

flaunts 6-inch Super AMOLED full HD (1080p) display and is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.8GHz Snapdragon 620 octa-core processor, paired with 3GB of
RAM, Adreno 510 GPU, 32GB onboard storage and a microSD card slot.
Other
features include a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with OIS (optical image
stabilization) and LED flash, an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies,
and a 4,000mAh battery. Usual set of connectivity options such as NFC, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and GPS are also present. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI running a top.

powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. It is paired with 3GB of RAM, 16GB
onboard storage and a microSD card slot.
Other
features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and OIS
(optical image stabilization) and 5-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture
and a 3,300mAh battery with support for fast charging feature. In terms of
connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and support for dual-SIM 4G LTE is
present. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop wrapped under Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
