Vertu Aster luxury handset gets outed in India for Rs 4,75,000

Luxury mobile phone manufacturer, Vertu, has launched its new smartphone model called Aster. Touting it as the quintessentially English smartphone, the Aster has been handmade and finished by craftsmen, using the most luxurious materials, in an exquisite palette of colours. Aster can also be personalised with a monogram or engraving.

The Vertu Aster will be available in India at a price of Rs 4,75,000 in premium stores like Popley and Swiss Paradise in Mumbai and DLF Emporio in New Delhi.

The Aster sports a 4.7-inch 5th generation solid sapphire crystal screen with full HD display technology and titanium casing. The new handset features Dolby Digital Plus virtual surround sound and Hasselblad certified imaging, as well as Vertus full portfolio of services, which comprises Classic Concierge as well as Vertu LIFE and Vertu Certainty packages.

A quad-core, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM powers.

The rear camera still has 13 megapixels, autofocus, and a dual-LED flash, which is the same as the Signature Touch, but the images it takes are excellent.
