Google Nexus 6P Special Edition launched at Rs 43,999



After launching the Nexus 6P back in October, Huawei has today announced a special edition variant in India. The Nexus 6P Special Edition will go on sale via Flipkart from 21 December. It is only available in 64GB variant and is priced at Rs 43,999, which is Rs 1,000 more than the standard edition. Nexus 6P Special Edition sports a metal body.

This special edition is essentially a Gold colored variant, which will join the Grey and Silver color variants currently available on Flipkart.

The Huawei Nexus 6P has been well received by the Indian audience and keeping in mind the niche target group, we have introduced the gold colour Special Edition of the smartphone, said Allen Wang, President, Huawei India Consumer Business Group said.

The all-new Nexus 6P has a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with WQHD (1440x2560p) (518 ppi) resolution with Gorilla Glass 4 protection and comes with the integrated Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor on the back. The smartphone features an all-metal, 7.33mm thick body in white, grey and aluminium finishes, packs a 3,450mAh battery, and comes with front-facing stereo speakers.

It is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC supported by 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone also features a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and 4K video recording capabilities and can capture videos at 240 frames per second, 8-megapixel selfie camera, 3,450mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.

Connectivity options include single-SIM card slot, 4G support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a USB Type-C port. On the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
