The nubia N2 is unofficially here, thanks to its Amazon India listing. While the smartphone is already available in China, it is scheduled for an India launch tomorrow. Although it is shown as ‘currently unavailable‘ on the Amazon India product page, the listing nonetheless gives away a lot of details.
The USP of the nubia N2 is its 5,000mAh battery which is claimed to offer talk-time of 50 hours and standby time of 1000 hours. Pricing of the smartphone in India is the only thing left following the official launch tomorrow. If the company chooses to keep it similar to the price in China, which is CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 19,000), then we might see it compete in the affordable category. Meanwhile, nubia reveals in a tweet that the smartphone will go on sale from 12 PM starting July 5. Today InFocus Turbo 5 goes open sale in India via Amazon India.

Nubia N2 specifications, features
Nubia N2 features a unibody design and measures 7.9mm in thickness. The smartphone has rounded corners and a U-type antenna design that makes the rear panel appear neater. There is a home button on the front which doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. As per the listing, the smartphone is available in only gold color.
In terms of specifications, the nubia N2 is equipped with a 5.5-inch AMOLED on-cell capacitive display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, octa-core 64-bt MediaTek MT6750 SoC is coupled with Mali T860GPU. There is 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Talking about the USP of the smartphone; the 5,000mAh battery is supported with nubia’s smart battery system which is claimed to provide up to two days’ of usage on a single charge. It further optimizes battery drain by managing background apps.
For photography, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, neo vision 6.0, and PDAF. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, and skin retouching 2.0. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with nubia UI 4.0 layered above. Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and GLONASS.
