Honor Band 3 with 50 meter water resistance, heart rate sensor launched in India at Rs. 2,799

Along with the Honor 8 Pro, Honor had also unveiled the Honor Band 3 for the Indian market. Weeks after the announcement the wearable will be going on sale from today via Amazon India. Priced at Rs 2,799, the smart band comes in dynamic orange, navy blue, and carbon black color options. 

The Honor Band 3 first debuted at the Honor 9 event in Berlin and fans have been waiting for its release ever since. In terms of design, the fitness band features a vertically aligned 0.91-inch PMOLED display offering a resolution of 128×32 pixels. The display shows notifications such as the time, heart-rate, and steps count. It has a 16mm wide strap made of thermoplastic polyurethane.

The Honor Band 3 also doubles up as a heart rate monitor while it performs other regular fitness functions such as record sleep patterns, steps, calories, distance and run. It has an infrared sensor and 3-axis accelerometer. The Honor Band 3 boasts of 5 Atm water resistance and can survive up to 50 meters under the water. It can be paired with smartphones running Android OS versions 4.4 and above or iOS 8 and above. Honor Band 3 users can view the recorded data via a companion app on their smartphone.

Also, when paired with the smartphone, the Honor Band 3 can also view their smartphone notifications on the fitness band itself. As the company claims, the Honor Band 3′s battery can last for up to 30 days on a single charge. It weighs 18 grams, so it is ultra-light. The Band 3 come with 12-month service warranty while Honor also promises best-in-class after sale services to the consumers.
