When Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 8 with a dual-camera setup last month, the company made it obvious that it will indeed launch more smartphones with such a camera setup going forward. In its second offering with a dual-camera setup, Samsung has today announced the Galaxy C8 in China. The smartphone is listed on the company’s Chinese website but the listing does not reveal the price or availability yet.

The Samsung Galaxy C8 will be the successor to the Galaxy C7 smartphone launched last year in May. It is also the first smartphone to sport a dual-camera setup from the mid-ranger Galaxy C series. The twin-lens system uses a 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture paired with a 5-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The two cameras are aligned vertically on the rear panel with the LED flash positioned beneath it. The primary camera also offers a feature to fix focus later in photographs captured. Up front, the smartphone comes equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.
