Enhanced Reader Mode
About the enhanced reader mode, the feature cleans up the web page from advertisements and any unwanted distraction while you are reading the article. The enhanced reader mode also lets you customize font type and size. You can also adjust line height and column width. The browser offers you the option to switch between dark mode or a white theme depending on your reading preferences.
Toggle GIF animations
While GIF is one of the most popular ways of interaction online, it can get irritating at times. Vivaldi extends a certain level of control and lets you turn off or on a GIF animation on the web page. Click on the “Toggle Images” icon in the status bar at the bottom and choose from the provided “Always” “Once” and “Never” options.
Editable Mouse Gestures, Themes and more
Making the platform as refreshing as it goes, Vivaldi lets users perform certain tasks by just drawing gestures with the mouse. In the v1.11, developers of the browser have made few upgrades to the feature. Now users can set a minimum stroke length for the gestures control. For personalization, users can choose from different “Themes” settings and even apply it to the reader’s mode. Users can also create their own custom theme within the browser and even schedule a time for themes to change automatically.
Vivaldi has a minimalist UI and capturing a web page absolutely seamless. You can capture a full web page or even make a selection. Users can click on the screenshot icon from the Status bar at the bottom and save the file in an image format of their choice. The tabs in the browser are adaptive in nature and can be distinguished from varied colors. Draw prominently from the web page currently open. You can group tabs for a common purpose together an also tag them with colors. For instance, Facebook can be marked blue, Gmail in red and so on.
