We are just minutes away from Apple‘s big launch event in San Francisco, and a trigger-happy Amazon.com seems to have stolen Apple’s thunder. According to telegraph report the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have both been spotted on a special page created to sell cases for the new iPhones. Apart from confirming the names iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the Amazon page also confirms the overall design, the dual-camera setup at the back of the iPhone 7 Plus, and the absence of the 3.5mm audio jack.
The Amazon page lists cases designed by companies like Speck, OtterBox, CM4, i-Blason, Pelican, Case-Mate, Spigen and even Amazon Basics. The individual listings all but confirm the changes to the camera’s design on both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. You can clearly see how the case designs have changed to accommodate the bigger camera lens on the iPhone 7 and the dual-cameras on the iPhone 7 Plus. Besides the cases, the page also lists third-party earphones that connect to the Lightning connector. There are also listings for Bluetooth headsets from the likes of Bose, SkullCandy and Sony, which all but confirm the absence of the 3.5mm audio jack.
In just a few minutes, CEO Tim Cook will kick off his keynote address, and the whole world will be waiting the launch of the new iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. Cook is also widely expected to take the wraps off the new Apple Watch 2 tonight.
