As per the listing, the Moto E3 Power with codename XT1706 features a 5-inch HD 720p display, which is slightly larger compared to 4.5-inch on the Moto E (2015). The smartphone could be powered by MediaTek’s 64-bit MT6735P quad core chipset (four Cortex A-53 cores) clocked at 1GHz. Paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot for further expansion is also expected. The upgrades also come in the camera department with the smartphone featuring an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, it runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out-of-the-box.
Now, as the name suggests, the Moto E3 Power is expected to pack a 3,500mAh battery. The Moto E3 comes with smudge-resistant screen protection, and the same is expected on the ‘Power’ variant too. Connectivity wise, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE options are likely to be in tow. As of now, there is no word on the pricing, but Moto E3 is priced at $131 in the US, which roughly translates to Rs 8,900. There are chances wherein the Moto E3 Power could be placed in the same price bracket.
