Apart from launching the K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note smartphones, Lenovo at IFA 2016 in Berlin also revealed the new A Plus and P2 smartphones.
The Lenovo P2 has been priced at EUR 249 (approximately Rs. 18,500) while the Lenovo A Plus will be available at EUR 69 (approximately Rs. 5,200). Both the handsets will be initially available in the European markets. The Lenovo P2 will start shipping in November while the A Plus will go on sale from this month.
The Lenovo P2 comes with a 5.5-inch FullHD AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB (3GB RAM) and 64GB (4GB RAM) of inbuilt memory with support for expandable storage via microSD card. The phone comes with a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with dualLED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The P2 also boasts of a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. It's run on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
The Lenovo P2, on the other hand, is the successor to the battery-centric Lenovo P2 smartphone and packs a large 5100mAh battery.
The A Plus on the other hand has a smaller 4.5-inch display with 854x480 pixel resolution and is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB, of internal memory which will be further expandable. It sports a 5-megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery. It's run on Android Lollipop 5.1.
