Lenovo PHAB 2 expected to launch in India on December 6

The Lenovo Phab 2 and Lenovo Phab 2 Plus were launched at the company's Tech World Event back in June this year. The Phab 2 Plus arrived in India on December 6 and now looks like the Phab 2 is making its way into the market as well. Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart has listed the smartphone on its site, and has announced that it is arriving soon.

Teased as a contest on the company’s official Twitter handle, the caption reads “#GoPHAB  yet again on December 6”. The launch is expected since Lenovo has already launched the PHAB 2 Plus in India last month. The company had unveiled the PHAB 2 at its Tech World Show in June earlier this year along with the PHAB 2 Plus. Lenovo has already launched the PHAB 2 Plus in India last month for a price tag of Rs 14,999. Both the PHAB 2 and PHAB 2 Plus are successors to Lenovo’s PHAB and PHAB Plus phablets which were launched last year.

This is interesting as the PHAB 2 Plus was launched exclusively on Amazon. There is no word on the India pricing of the PHAB 2 as yet. When announced, the PHAB 2 and PHAB 2 Plus were priced at $199 (Rs 13,000 approximately) and $299 (Rs 20,000 approximately) respectively. But the India launch price for the PHAB 2 Plus came lower than expected. The Lenovo PHAB 2 is available in two color options of Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey.
