Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) press renders leaked ahead of CES 2017; here’s what we know so far


Ahead of the upcoming CES 2017, a lot of anticipated smartphones and devices are being spotted online. The latest to join the list is the Samsung A5 (2017) which has been revealed in fresh press renders. By far, it had been speculated that the smartphone will launch in four color options of Black, Gold, Pink, and Blue. Now the newest leaks reveal some of the key specifications of the mid-range smartphone.

Based on the leaks, Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is likely to continue with the same design language as its predecessor with glass and metal. However, it will bring certain improvements in terms of processor speed, camera, and battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) could feature a 5.2-inch display offering full HD resolution. It is expected to be powered by an Exynos 7880 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and coupled with Mali-T860 MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It could pack 32GB of onboard storage.

In terms of smartphone photography, it is likely to feature 16-megapixel cameras in the rear and front, making it a selfie-centric smartphone. In terms of power, the Galaxy A5 (2017) would draw its juice from a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone will further come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
