Moto C with 4G VoLTE Support, Android Nougat launched in India, priced at Rs 5,999: Specifications, features


Last month, Motorola unveiled a new series of budget smartphones, the Moto C and the Moto C Plus. The smartphones were expected to hit the Indian shores in June and right on cue, the Moto C is now available. The smartphone is priced at Rs 5,999, and it will be available at stores across India. Buyers will be able to choose from two color options — Pearl White and Starry Black.

Talking about design, the Moto C features a micro-textured back, and the overall design language is very similar to the Moto M. The Moto C comes with the capacitive touch buttons on the front, a circular camera module on the rear, and Moto branding placed below it. The speaker grille is placed on the rear end, the power button and volume rocker are on the right. The 3.5mm audio jack along with the USB port are placed on the top.

The Moto C features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels resolution, and it is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M processor paired with 1GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. On the software front, the Moto C runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Moto C features a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, LED flash. Other features include Burstmode, Panorama, HDR, beautification mode. It can also record 720p videos @30fps. The front camera is 2-megapixels with fixed focus. The smartphone packs a removable 2,350mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE and Bluetooth 4.2.
