HMD Global is all set to launch its new Nokia smartphones in India on June 13. The company had sent out the media invites for the event and although the smartphones that are being launched have not been revealed, it is highly likely that the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will be launched in India. Following the launch of the feature phone Nokia 3310 last month, India will now witness the arrival of the much talked about Nokia smartphones. Just a day before its launch, expected pricing on the three Nokia smartphones has been leaked online.
The alleged pricing of the three Nokia smartphones arrive from Best Smartphones Under who claims to have received it from a trusted source. Starting with the lowest variant, the Nokia 3 is priced at Rs 9,990, the Nokia 5 at Rs 12,990 and the Nokia 6 at Rs 15,990. It is also reported that the three Nokia smartphones will be available for pre-order from launch day itself, and will start shipping within a week. The three Nokia smartphones are said to be available via e-commerce sites Amazon India and Flipkart.
The alleged pricing does match with its global rates as of now, but is also in line with multiple reports and leaks. However the authenticity of the information cannot be confirmed. The Nokia smartphones’ launch is just a day away now, and we’ll soon get to know about the official pricing and availability details. The Nokia smartphones, along with the reintroduced 3310 created a wave of excitement and anticipation after the launch at MWC 2017. This launch will mark Nokia’s re-entry to the smartphone zone in India, and also its first full-fledged Android-powered smartphones.
As far as specifications go, the Nokia 3 features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a MediaTek quad-core 1.3GHz processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. For photography, the Nokia 3 sports an 8-megapixel rear and front-facing camera. The smartphone is fuelled by a 2,650mAh battery.
Second in line, the Nokia 5 flaunts a bigger 5.2-inch HD display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor. The smartphone packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery. Its photography specifications include a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The biggest smartphone out of the three in terms of size and specifications, the Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection layered on top. Under the hood of the smartphone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor. The Nokia 6 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. In the photography department, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,000mAh battery for power.
