One of the unknown phones resembles the Moto X (2017) leaks we’ve seen in the past. Just a day back, Moto X (2017) press renders gave a detailed look at the gold variant of the device. The phone in the video is in some ways similar to these renders. The front as well as the back of the device make a very brief appearance in the video. The phone shares similarities with Moto G5, but the antenna placement is more in keeping with the Moto X (2017) renders. However, the one change in the device is in terms of camera. While the leaks hinted at a dual-rear camera setup, the video shows a single camera at the back. The color of the phone in the video is blue, not gold.
The alleged Moto X (2017) appears right at the beginning of the video, and is there for barely a millisecond. Additionally, the low video quality does not make matters easy. Moto X (2017) is expected to launch in the coming months and might be a relatively affordable premium device. The phone’s leaked specifications are quite similar to Moto Z Play, while in terms of design, it takes after the recently launched Moto G5 Plus.
Moto X (2017) features, specifications
Moto X (2017) will most likely feature a Snapdragon 625 processor under the hood. The phone is expected to run on Android Nougat 7.1 out-of-the-box. The leaks hint at two internal memory variants — 32GB and 64GB with 3GB/4GB RAM. The camera sports a resolution of 13-megapixels. The selfie camera resolution is unknown but there are rumors of a front-facing flash. The specifications and the latest leak place the device at more of a mid-range segment than the premium one. Moto X clearly is not the flagship device, that status being taken by Moto Z line.

Another phone which makes an appearance in the video is a white colored wonder. The phone might be the rumored Moto ‘Albus’. There are not many details known about Albus except it might be a more budget version of Moto Z Play. The specifications of Moto X (2017) and Albus are quite similar in terms of hardware except for the 12-megapixel camera Albus will reportedly feature. Now that Moto has given a sneak peek into both the smartphones, the official announcement might not be too far off.
