Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) leak hints at 16-megapixel selfie camera, IP68-level water, dust resistance

The Galaxy A7 (2017) has long been a part of the rumor mills, and with Samsung yet to announce a launch date, leaks continue to trickle out. The latest leak hints at some interesting features on the upcoming smartphone, and this includes a 16-megapixel selfie camera and IP68-certification for water and dust resistance.

The Galaxy A7 (2017) with model number SM-A720F is rumored to be really thin with dimensions of 157.69×76.92×7.8mm, SamMobile reports. Based on what we have come across so far, the Galaxy A7 (2017) is expected to feature a 5.68-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, Exynos 7880 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB onboard storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.

On the camera front, there will be a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, and leaks suggest there will be a 16-megapixel snapper up front as well. Both the shooters are expected to support auto-focus. The rest of the expected features include 3,600mAh battery, fingerprint scanner and connectivity options like USB Type-C port along LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
