Samsung has launched its Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone in India. The smartphone is available for pre-booking from January 27, and will start shipping next month. Priced at Rs 36,900, the Galaxy C9 Pro is the first Samsung smartphone to come with 6GB of RAM. It is available in two colors, black and gold.
The Galaxy C9 Pro had launched in China in October last year, and is already available in countries like Bangladesh, Thailand, and Malaysia among others, where it is priced around the Rs 31,000 mark.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro Specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro comes with a 6-inch full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 653 octa-core chipset paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB RAM. There is also 64GB onboard storage, which is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
For photography, the phablet features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and 1080p video recording capabilities. It also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. The phablet also is powered by a 4,000mAh battery, fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, and Cirrus HiFi Codec for better audio performance.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. On the software front, the phablet runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out-of-the-box wrapped under TouchWiz UI.
