Adding to the growing obsession with selfies, OPPO is set to announce its new set of front camera-centric smartphones in the coming weeks. The company has sent out media invites which features a silhouette of dual camera module, suggesting that the upcoming smartphone could come with the new type of module that offers DSLR-like images. Although OPPO has not confirmed which smartphone it will launch, the company is long rumored to be working on the successors to its F1 and F1 Plus smartphones. Dubbed, OPPO F3 and F3 Plus, it is speculated that these smartphones will come with a dual selfie camera.
The rumored OPPO F3 and F3 Plus have been spotted online and have also been teased on a promotional banner in Indonesia. Now that the company has sent out official invites, it makes for a plausible clause to say that these smartphones are up for an imminent launch.
OPPO F3 and F3 Plus features and specifications
Based on the past rumors, OPPO F3 will be the smaller of the two models with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, it is expected to come powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The OPPO F3 Plus, on the other hand, is speculated to come with a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display and come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
For photography, F3 is likely to feature a 20-megapixel front camera while the F3 Plus is expected to come with a dual selfie camera with a combination of 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel snappers.
The smartphones come are expected to come fuelled with a 4,000mAh battery with Super VOOC fast charging technology on the F3 Plus. On the software front, both the smartphones are expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat with Color OS on top.
