OPPO F3 Plus with dual selfie cameras, 4,000mAh battery launched in India, priced at Rs 30,990; Specifications, features


As expected, OPPO launched a new selfie-centric smartphone called the OPPO F3 Plus in India today. The F3 Plus is priced at Rs 30,990, making it OPPO’s costliest smartphone in the last couple of years. OPPO will be conducting a flash sale for the F3 Plus on April 1. However, pre-booking for the smartphone starts today and will be valid till March 31.  The OPPO F3 Plus will be sold through e-commerce sites Amazon India, Flipkart, and Snapdeal, and will be available in black and gold color options.

Coming to the highlight of the smartphone, the OPPO F3 Plus sports a dual camera setup on the front with a pair of 16-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel camera. The 16-megapixel selfie camera is equipped to take high-resolution solo shots, while the 8-megapixel selfie unit is for 120-degree wide-angle selfies. The smartphone also houses a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture on the rear end. The 16-megapixel rear camera also features Dual PDFA autofocus technology and a dual-tone LED flash.

OPPO F3 Plus specifications and features

The OPPO F3 Plus features a 6-inch full HD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Under the hood, it runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 653 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 510 GPU. In terms of memory, the OPPO F3 Plus comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

The smartphone is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery and is equipped with the company’s VOOC charging technology. On the software front, the OPPO F3 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Color OS 3.0 layered on top. The connectivity options offered by the smartphone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G, VoLTE, and dual-SIM.
