Shortly after press renders of the Honor 8 Lite were spotted online, the smartphone has been officially launched. Interestingly, Huawei chose to announce the smartphone about three weeks before the MWC 2017. The Honor 8 Lite will go on sale in Europe starting February 17 for 269 Euros which is approximately Rs 19,500. However, other markets can expect the phone to go on sale sometime in March this year. The smartphone will be available in blue, black, gold, and white color options.
As the name suggests, the Honor 8 Lite is a stripped down version of the Honor 8, which was launched last year. While the novelty of the Honor 8 Lite does not match to the Honor 8′s level, the smartphone though comes with a 2.5D glass up front and back to give a premium look and feel. One of the main things that sets it apart from the Honor 8 is the lack of the dual-rear cameras.
