The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 is underway at Barcelona with companies gearing up to launch their anticipated products. Among these companies, Huawei is all set to host its MWC press conference where it is expected to launch its aggressively rumored smartphones P10 along with its next generation smartwatch, the Huawei Watch 2. Huawei could also surprise us with the launch of P10 Plus as it did with the P9 Plus at last year’s MWC 2016. For those who cannot attend the event live, we have you covered. Huawei will be livestreaming the event on YouTube and you can click the link here to watch it. The event is scheduled to begin at EST 2:00PM which will be 6.30PM for India.

Huawei’s upcoming flagship smartphone the P10 has been rumored quite frequently in terms of its specifications and renders. The Huawei P9 stood out for Leica-certified dual camera setup at the back, and if rumors turn out to be true, then the P10 will continue with the same. A very recent leak by serial leakster Evan Blass showed the official renders of the alleged P10 smartphone. In terms of design, the P10 looks much like the P9, but the front panel could witness a change with the addition of a Home button which was missing in the P9. The addition of Home button on the front panel could also lead to it doubling as a fingerprint sensor as well. At the back, the dual cameras are placed on the top left with the Leica branding sitting beside them.

The Huawei P10 Plus, on the other hand, has been rumored to come with the same set of specifications, but the two would differ in terms of design and display. The Huawei P10 Plus is expected to come with a dual-edge curved display like the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and will skip the physical Home button. The fingerprint sensor will instead be placed on the back much like the P9 smartphone.
There have been rumors suggesting the price for the Huawei P10. The 4GB/32GB model of the P10 is expected to be priced at RMB 3,488 (Rs 34,100 approximately), the 4GB/64GB variant at RMB 4,088 (Rs 40,000 approximately), and the 6GB/128GB one at RMB 4,688 (Rs 45,900 approximately).
Huawei P10 specifications
According to recent rumors, the Huawei P10 smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch flat screen display. At the core of the smartphone, it will run the in-house Kirin 960 chipset which will be paired with 4GB of RAM. The P10 smartphone could come in two storage variants of 32GB and 64GB. There could be a high-end variant as well with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. On the software front, the Huawei P10 is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
