Samsung Galaxy S8 signup page leaked ahead of MWC 2017

Samsung has already confirmed it will not be launching the Galaxy S8 at the MWC 2017. Though the company will be present at the conference and will announce a launch date, which is speculated to be March 29 while sales are said to begin by April 21. Thanks to numerous leaks, we already have a lot of details, including design, specifications and other features, about the Galaxy S8. Now just a couple of days before Samsung reveals the launch date, we have come across what’s said to be the screenshot of a signup page for the Galaxy S8.

Shared by leakster Evan Blass, the screenshot, which presumably is of a signup page which hasn’t gone live yet, gives a hint at the design of the smartphone. As you can see, the image doesn’t reveal a lot but shows slimmer bezels on the top and bottom. The lower panel doesn’t have any button, which points to previous rumors that the Galaxy S8 doesn’t have the traditional physical home button on the front. According to rumors, the smartphone will have an on-screen software-based home button whereas the fingerprint scanner will be located on the back.

Rumors so far suggest that there will be two variants of the smartphone, to be known as the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with latter having a larger display. It’s being speculated that Samsung will be introducing dual-curved display on both the variants. Previous leaked renders have suggested that the smartphone will retain 3.5mm audio jack along with USB Type-C support for fast charging.

Apart from this Samsung ’s digital assistance Bixby will also be making its debut to compete with Apple’s Siri and Google’s Assistant. Rumors suggests that Bixby will allow users to conduct virtual searches through built-in optical character recognition, capable of recognizing text, images and identify objects when the camera is pointed at them. The assistant will also said to extend support to Samsung’s mobile payment system, Samsung Pay. It is expected to let users make online payments.
