Even as MWC 2017 is inching closer, rumors and leaks of the much anticipated Moto G5 and G5 Plus continue to roll in. Days after the renders of the Moto G5 Plus were spotted online, a new image of the upcoming Moto smartphone has emerged online.
Posted on Google +, the leaked image shows that the front of the device along with a few details about the phone. According to the leak, the Moto G5 Plus will come with a 5.2-inch full HD display, 2.0GHz octa-core processor, 12-megapixel “Rapid Focus Camera”, Fingerprint reader, NFC and 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower compatibility. The image also shows the capsule-shaped home button below the display which will double as a fingerprint scanner. It is worth noting that previous rumors had revealed that the Moto G5 Plus will have a 5.5-inch display.
There have been plenty of rumors about the pricing of the Moto G5 Plus. Summing everything up, the Moto G5 Plus is said to be priced around $300 which is approximately Rs 20,400. While for the India, the smartphone is said to launch sometime in March after the MWC 2017 and will be priced slightly lesser at $230, which is approximately Rs 15,600.

Moto G5 specifications and features
The Moto G5 is expected to feature a 5-inch full HD (1080p) display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM.
The Moto G5 is expected to be available in two variants, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage and another with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. On the photography front, the Moto G5 is expected to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It is likely to be fueled by a 2,800mAh battery. The smartphone is expected to run the latest Android Nougat out-of-the-box.
Moto G5 Plus specifications and features
From what we know so far, the Moto G5 Plus is expected to feature a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) AMOLED display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is likely to launch in two storage options — 16GB and 32GB.
In the photography department, the Moto G5 Plus is said to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. Up front, the smartphone could house a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone could be armed with a 3,080mAh battery. On the software front, the Moto G5 Plus could run on Android Nougat out-of-the-box.
