Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to launch at MWC 2017 today, here’s how you can watch the live stream at 11.30PM IST

We are less than 15 minutes away from Samsung’s MWC 2017 event that is scheduled to take place in Barcelona 11.30PM IST.  Samsung is expected to launch the Tab S3 and for those who want to catch the event live can click here, as the event will be live streamed.

Thanks to several leaked renders, we already have an idea about what the Galaxy Tab S3 will bring to the table. The Tab S3 will feature a metal and glass body. Up front you will notice a home button that is mos likely to double-up as a fingerprint scanner. While the tablet looks almost exactly like its predecessor Galaxy Tab S2, there is one notable novelty that comes with the Tab S3, which is support for the S Pen stylus. Apart from the S Pen, the tablet is also said to come with a physical QWERTY keyboard attachment.

There is no mention, however, whether the Galaxy Tab S3 will feature a Smart Cover for the keyboard like the iPad Pro. But, from the renders leaked so far, Samsung is not providing dedicated S-Pen slot like the one in iPad Pro.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 specifications

The Samsung Tab S3 is expected to launch in two variants. One of the variants of the tablet will come with LTE support while the other would be with Wi-Fi support only. The Galaxy Tab S3 will most likely feature a 9.6-inch AMOLED display with spilling edges, as seen in the Galaxy S7 edge. The tablet’s display will offer 2048×1536 pixels resolution and will have an aspect ratio of 4:3. At the heart the tablet is said to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. There are some reports which suggest the Snapdragon 652 chipset instead, along with Adreno 510 GPU for the Galaxy Tab S3. The storage options on the tablet could be 32GB and 128GB.

In the photography department, the Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to sport a 12-megapixel rear camera. Up front, the tablet could house a 5-megapixel selfie camera. In terms of connectivity, the tablet is expected to support Type-C, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is also expected to come with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the front home button. It is rumored to be armed with a 5,870mAh battery. It is expected to run the latest Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

In comparison, the Tab S2 comes with a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels, an 8-megapixel primary camera, a 2.1-megapixel front camera, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, and a fingerprint sensor.
